notes: Loved the flavor of this soup! Ginger can be so strong but it compliments this soup rather than overpowering it. I opted for a less spicy version by omitting the peppercorns and limiting the red pepper flakes. I had a difficult time finding “wide rice noodles” so used Pad Thai rice noodles instead.

Chewy Molasses Cookies
notes: These cookies have a great texture but a little too much baking soda for me. They had an off flavor that left an aftertaste in my mouth (similar to artificial sweeteners). I’m pretty sure it was the baking soda.
notes: These were the best brussels sprouts that I’ve made! The sweet tangy sauce was so good on them. I ended up leaving off the pumpkin seeds and rosemary. It didn’t need them!
Rosemary and Toasted Caraway Shortbread
notes: Loved the flavor of these! The cookie was perfectly sweet with hints of rosemary and caraway.
